To make our car more tolerable for our Chemical Sensitivities, we removed the car mats - they’re back in now thanks to photocatalytic spray. We covered the spare tire with Denny Foil. We let the car bake out in the sun with the windows down. We ran vodka through the air vents (do not do this while driving). If we had known about photocatalytic spray at the time, we would have sprayed the interior with that and let it bake. Some people find getting the car professionally ozoned will help. Others find it harmful.
